I'm sure there are many mums out there in the same situation: that little person you have been nurturing so carefully is about to take the huge step of starting school.
My daughter has been attending pre-school and is definitely ready to progress with her learning. Thankfully she knows all of her classmates really well through pre-school, which will make the transition much easier.
We have been collecting items of school uniform and have everything except her shoes. Even her daddy welled up when he saw our little girl wearing school uniform!
We are lucky to be part of a community and that our daughter can attend the village school.
